Camp Selah is back!

We are pleased to announce the return of Camp Selah, a nature-based summer experience for 9-14 year-old kids!

Camp Selah

A tradition since 2004, Camp Selah returns after a few years’ hiatus. Camp Selah is much more than a fun summer camp experience. Camp Selah provides a five-day opportunity to explore the beauty of Selah, Bamberger Ranch Preserve while campers learn about science and the natural history of the Hill Country.

We’re now accepting applications for Session One, June 5-9, 2023, and Session Two, June 12-16, 2023. Session One is for kids aged 9-11 and Session Two is for kids aged 12-14. Applicants will be chosen based on answers to a few questions about their interest in attending camp.

PLEASE NOTE: Like all others in the Hill Country, we are hoping for rain. Our swimming hole is very low, and we must reserve the right to cancel or postpone camp if we do not receive significant rainfall between now and June. Registrants will receive a full refund if we have to cancel or postpone.

The mission of Selah, Bamberger Ranch Preserve is to protect the 5,500 acres of land under its ownership, keep it in good health and balance, and educate the public about stewardship of the land as well as awakening and nourishing a passion for learning about nature in both children and adults.
